Masala Kichadi Instant Pot Instructions

Kichadi Instant Pot recipe
  1. Wash and drain rice + lentil mix; set aside.
  2. Set the IP on Sauté mode, “less” mode; add 2 tbsp. oil and let it heat up.
  3. Once hot, add ingredients of spice mix and stir for 30 sec.
  4. Add veggies from the packet and stir for 30 sec.
  5. Add 3 cups water and rice + lentil mix, cancel sauté mode, close and secure lid; turn Pressure Valve to Sealing position.
  6. Set IP to Rice mode, High Pressure, and set it to 12 minutes.
  7. Quick Release IP and let it sit for 5 min. Serve hot.
