Lemon juice
Cooking oil

Marinade chicken with spices (if you have time).
Add Biryani spices & washed rice.
Add marinated chicken, water, and cook.

The word Biryani is derived from the Persian word Birian, which means ‘fried before cooking,’ & Birinj, the Persian word for rice. Traditionally, Biryani is cooked over charcoal in an earthen pot.
